The Disney's Beach Club Resort has some really wonderful recreation options. Here is a look at them.

First of all there is the Stormalong Bay. It is the main pool complex of the resort the complex resembles a beach-side water park. It has sand-bottom pools with a circular lazy river an artificial waterfall, and a large replica of a ship wreck. It also has probably the highest hotel water slides in all of the Walt Disney World.

The Stormalong Bay pool complex also has a counter-service restaurant on the pool side and bar as well as a shallow kiddy area. It also has an elevated tanning deck. The Stormalong Bay is located at the center. It is right between both the resorts and directly faces Crescent Lake.

There is a Ship Shape Health Club which is a fully-equipped health and fitness center that is absolutely free of charge. The health club is located between both the resorts. It offers all the quality fitness equipment. There also is a, sauna, spa and steam room. The fitness center also offers massage therapy sessions, which are available through an appointment only.

There also is the Lafferty Place Arcade which is an absolutely indoor arcade that is located close to the Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Also there is the Bayside Marina, which offers a large variety of watercraft that is easily available for rentals. These watercrafts include various private cruises and fishing excursions.

There also is a beautiful lake-side white sand beach on the Crescent Lake. It is a perfect place to enjoy the sunset. It provides a wonderful view of the illuminated Boardwalk located just across the lake.
