    Smile Meghalaya Where Man Above The Clouds

    If you want to spend holidays then anyone can think about Meghalaya also
    a wonderful tourism spot and within 7 days this tour can be completed.
    How to reach-Flights is available up to Guwahati then 103 Km from Guwahati to Shillong by car or bus and train is also available up to Guwahati.
    Tour Program-Spend 1st day at Guwahati in that day you can visit
    Kamakhya devi Temple,zoo in Guwahati.amazing river Brahmaputra river then next day you can go Shillong spend 4 night at Shillong within that period one day visit side seen lots of famous spot present in Shillong
    1.Elephant Falls -Very nice falls just 12 Km away from Shillong city
    2.Shillong View Point – Approximately 10 kms. from the city, this point offers a panoramic view of the spreading city below. The Shillong Peak is situated nearby and is the highest point in Meghalaya with an altitude of 1960 meters above sea level.
    3.Golf Course – the 18-hole course located within the city is considered to be one of the best natural golf courses in the world.
    4.Wards Lake – A lonely manmade lake in the middle of town, with meandering footpaths and boating facilities.
    Other day you can go Cherrapunjee
    in Cherrapunjee few amazing falls and cave present
    1.Dain-Thlen Falls 2.Noh-Kalikai Falls(heights falls and most beautiful also)
    3.Mawsmai Cave and falls
    and Bangladesh border may be the extra attraction in this visit If you have time then you can go Mawsynram(World most rainy area)
    So after the tour again you have to return via Guwahati.
    Unfortunately i can't able to post shots of Meghalaya which I have taken but what ever be KUBLAI(in Khasi language 'kublai' mean 'Thanks') Meghalaya for such a fine trip.

    make it as soon as possible and trust me you will find lot many good places to visit and not really ver crowded at all, you can even go to cherapunjee which is not very far from shillong

    I got the chance to visit all these places. Mawsmai caves is really amazing.

    well meghalaya is just 1/100th of north east there is lots more to see. whenever i land in guwahati or dibrugarh airport it feels so awesome. the air is so fresh so unpolluted that i never wanna come back.

    I only have visited Guwahati just for Kamrup kamakhay temple but still i have visited zoo and few others spot. Shillong is my favorite in Meghayala.
    Next time i will visit Arunachal if i got opportunity.

    surely you are welcome but before visiting hopefully you know you need to get an innerline pass to enter arunachal . you can apply for it at arunachal bhawan in calcutta or in guwahati
