Thread: Any good places for one day trek in mumbai

guys, can anyone suggest good plaes in mumbai for a day trek, and an easy way to get there..

wat about places in maharashtra, somewhere at the outskirts may be?.. M trying to find places that cld be visited in like 2-3 days ...

panchgani.....is one place i ve heard famous for trekking.....!

But Wai(Dist-satara) is so far from mumbai and i think another place is present is Matheran which is near to Mumbai (108 KM) and also may be treking possible in that place.

matheran is nice also check the bhandara and sanjay gandhi national park.......

I think Bhandara is so far from Mumbai it's near to Nagpur.I think better place for trekking is Satpura Range(Gujarat & MP)

no man it was not that far from mumbai it takes only 2:45 hrs from mumbai(malad)....i was there on this new year.......

Bhandara is the district besides of Gondia (in MP-MH border) and distance from Tumsar road(Bhandara Dist) to Mumbai is 920 KM
how can any one reach within 2 and half hour

its saputara n its maharastra n gujarat border....only hillstation in gujarat...

well one cant possible trek in matheran.....

one of the options might b mahabaleshwar.....its jus a beautiful place......
