It not the section, where I generally post. But I want to share my experience with you guys.
Don't get confused with the thread heading. That the similar figure which I found one my Trip-o-meter when I stopped my car after my 4 days journey.
As you all know that I took a 4 days break from IBF and I went to Delhi to meet my parents.
So here is mini description about how a trip to delhi became a Discovery of almost whole of northern India.
I started my journey on Friday the 16th Jan, from Mohali (Punjab) to Karnal (Haryana) where I spent the night at my In laws. In the morning i.e. 17 I travelled to Delhi i.e. Karnal (Haryana) to Delhi (Delhi) I reached there around midday, i met my parents and my dad planned a trip to Vrindavan (U.P) so the trip was like Delhi (Delhi) to Vrindavan (U.P), we reached there around 10 pm, stayed in one of the ashram, on 18th morning we did the darshan of one of the famous and a very big temple at Vrindavan.
After that my dad insisted on going to Mathura which is just 6 Km away, so we went there to see the birth place of Lord Krishna, when we reached there we came to know that the birst place opens for a specific period of time in a day and we have to wait for around 4 hours,
My dad was in no mood to wait, so he ordered my to drive to Balaji which is in Rajasthan some 110 kms away from Mathura, like an obidient son, i drove the car till Balaji.
Tell you guys, I have never drive the car on such a wonderful highway, till mathura to bharatpur which is around 30 km the road is very rigid, too many pits, but after bharatpur it just a butter. The maximum speed which i touched on my Wagon R was 120+ i was just wishing for the 6 gear, Im sure you can even touch 150+ on those roads, no traffic, broad and smooth highways
okay after reaching the balaji we did the darshan of the holy temple at mehndipur and attended the aarti the atmosphere was really spritrual. it gives you a goose bumps. ton n tons of people just standing together and clapping and singing in chorus. we spent the night in some hotel over there. in the morning i.e. on 19th we started our journey towards mathura.
on the way back , i missed one turn and found ourself standing in some village,,the local people told us that we have to travel via Goverdhan that mean 20 extra KM, but my dad was very happy, he did the darshan at Goverdhan too. Many of you know this, that Krishna lifted the Goverdhan Parvat (mountain) on his little fingure. i saw the place from where he lifted that mountain, amazing, devotees do a 21 KM parikarma of that mountain either by foot /car/rickshaw, somehow i managed to convince my dad to skip that. and finally we reached mathura
It was the first time when I saw the birth place of lord krishna, you know he was born in the jail. I was amazed to see that jail is still there, heavy security, gunman on each tower. I really liked that place. You know a Masjid and the Cell holds the common wall.
after doing the darshan we sat in our car to drive back to delhi, when suddenly my wife said aloudly in the car, "I heard that Agra is just 55 km away from here, I haven't seen the Tajmahal, lets us come back in a month or two for that".:52: It was enough for my dad,he said lets go to Agra,
so we went to Agra to see the taj mahal. we reached there around 10 pm so spent a night in hotel. in the morning on 20th we went to see the TAJ, its awesum, It was an unplanned trip so we didn't had any camera, we hired on photographer who said he will charge 60 bucks / photo, deal settled on 30/ photo. I will upload some photos soon.
later in the day I drove back some 225 km to delhi. Had a 14 hours sleep and back to work
I forgot to mention the great food / sweets we had on this wonderful memorable trip.
Mathura ke Pede, Vrindavan ke Malpue, Agra ka Petha, and last but not the least i had aloads of Paranthas from the road side dhabas, they were delicious
I thank my dad was giving me and my family such a wonderful and memorable journey.
P.S: I wrote all of the above in 10 mins, so please forgive me for my grammer and spelling mistakes
