    Default Andaman & Nicobar Islands

    Andaman & Nicobar Islands are located in Indian Ocean, there you can find some of the best beaches and forest's of India. This place gives you the best sites to feel free and to enjoy beauty of ocean and sound of waves.
    Most of the people here speak English, Hindi and Bengali. You can get a flight to Port Blair from all main airports like Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Chennai.

    Wow what a beautiful place to visit. Have you been there?

    The second pictures looks just like The Maldives

    What else is there to see and do, and also is it quite a tourist place?

    wow.....aadi did u take the pics.....

    i had a fren who stayed there on the island for 4 years n he was always talkin about the place.....such a wonderful place wid lots of water sports to do......n hiking n stuff as well.....

    Obviously it's part of India as union territory Andaman was famous for Cellular Jail in British Colonial India.Punishment of transportation had given at that time to the freedom fighter.

    And capital of the Andaman Port Blair airport name is changed it's now it given Veer Savarkar Airport
    As Vinayak Damodar Savarkar was a great Indian freedom fighter also had spend lots of the year in Cellular jail.

    Most of the Island in Andaman & Nicobar are still uncanny for visitor where mainly live tribal.
    Southern point which is also India's southern point called Indira Point.

    Default Traveling in Andaman

    Andaman
    Reach Port Blair and from there 7 KM far the nice beach is present which is called Corbyns cove beach this is very good for bath.
    Just beside that present Black Island and then visit Marine Park fisheries Aquarium where more than 350 species of sea animal present with variety of colorful fish.
    Then also visit Ross Island near port Blair in 1941 massive earthquake this island damaged and at that moment Japan capture this Island and now there light house ,church,cemetery present and also few Japaneses heritage present.
    then visit north of the Port Blair Harriet hill it has most beautiful view also visit the wild life in surrounding area(It also called Harriet National Park).
    If possible then visit Viper island it's beautiful also it has the the historical importance(British killed Indian prisoner in this Island) also visit Little Andaman.

    Nicobar
    150 Km(sea route) form the Andaman in south direction Nicobar Island present.
    Reach Car Nicobar(It's also known as 10 degree Channel) and you can sea various beach & hill.India's southeast spot also present there(Indira point).

    Geographical Importance

    India's only volcano Barren & Narcondum located there.

    Historical Importance

    cellular Jail still present there with the story of cruelty in 19th century by the British empires.

    Yes there are beautiful places in India but there are also beautiful places outside of India too, and each place has its own beauty and significance, and therefore you can not compare places with each other.

    When's the best time of the year to visit the Islands?

    the basic reason y we go abroad....is firstly the exotic locations r mantained properly...unlike in India thy dont mantain these locations....

    the second reason being the fares....i mean .....for ex. a flight ticket (return) from delhi to kerala or ahd to kol wud cost prolly 14K whereas flight fares to some locations abroad cost around maybe 3-4 K more .....so thts the big difference.......tht the general set of ppl think!!!!
    Dont count wat u lost, cherish wat u ve & plan wat to gain...coz past neva returns but future may return the lost! Think-Decide-Act!!!!
