Default A question to j4k smoothov and others

    this is about pixing...

someone sends me this pic and tells me that this is a real nature pic taken by some of her uncle, who is a professional..

i feel like the pic is too good to be taken by a real cam, though need your expertise about it..

pls tell me if this is a real pic, or a photoshop creation...

Yup, it's definitely a photoshop product. Reflection of trees are too good to be true.

I don't see why those photos cannot be taken. There might be slight
photoshop adjusting after the pic was taken, but I don't see anything
that jumps out as totally ps created.

It's just long exposure on a tripod that gives the effect.

The first one: maybe those three clouds in the middle have been added,
the left edges align in a weird way, other than that it is just adjustments
    and corrections I think.

Such type of photos can be taken using the right wide angle lenses and the graduated denisty filters that I was talking about. Photoshop may have been used to adjust the hues and contrast, etc.

Whether these photos were taken by your friend or her uncle, that is another 'Q'. But she claims that her uncle is a professional then I have reason to believe.

Check the website Photography community, including forums, reviews, and galleries from Photo.net and you will see some really astounding pics.

i am a member of this website,, and i really feel sad, why people are lying that they got with a filter...

such big pics may not be taken up without editing, and at this level... the photo is quite attractive(1st) but the photographer's " i did it myself" comment broke him from the league...

thats why i object from using editors much more like others do,, and so my pics are quite rubbish for many dudes.. basically cause they are blown off..

one may say its a photoshop.. but its my own camera shot(without editing. just compressed and smallerised for this website)

you may see many flaws, because i didnt edit it at all..

i dont touch with raws basically(unless they are very poor)
