Thread: South Travel help needed.!!!

As you guys know, that someone special (in my life)is arriving this month..
she has a month to be here. and i have quite made much of her north India tour plan(with me obviously) ..

Now the question arrives at South... She wants to start from South first.. so she has made her arrival at straight to Bangalore from Delhi.. so i will leave for BNGLR too on/@ 16..

i dont know much places.. i know Bangalore, Mysore, Kodai, Pondy, Kanniyakumari, Rameshwaram, O_o o_Oty etc...only..

she is too crazy to see beaches of Goa and Chennai.. and also wants to see some more sight seeings in Kerala(Govt of Kerela ad, she saw in TV & internet :52

now cause all the travel expenses going to be bound by me :52: so pls tell me economic yet pleasurous, quiet, pleasant, scenatic...

pls also tell if some Moutanious places are there in South.. i mean good beautiful..


i already booked Mass at Pondy.. but now i am quite amazed and puzzled up of what to do next..

p.s: pls also mind that money is going to be a major thing, so pls keep it in mind..(rooms not more than 2-4k max pls.. )

I can arrange your stay in Bangalore free of cost. You must visit the backwaters of Kerala. Search the Internet for tour packages. They are pretty affordable.

thanks so much my brother already booked a room for her. She will stay for two days and see Blr and i will stay with brother. Thus saving money. This money i can use in some other places

P.s:i searched internet, but quite confused every hotel google search takes me to makemytrip kinda websites. Which are very confusing. Cause i am north Indian and don know much of South. Of which are good, etc. My brother knows only of Blr and Pondy only.

im sure the advice from farce was not supposed to be a taunt and i think the way he posted was as a good suggestion, which makes sense!!

Best thing is search on net, and look around for cheap hotels, read reviews and all and check out costs!

well, I don't know any hotels in South India. The last time
I stayed in a hotel was 15 years back.

There is one organization 'Youth Hostel'-hope i named it right ... They are spread through out India -in bangalore too- and they arrange REALLY economic trips.. South to North, etc.. But the only problem is we dont get to fix the date, it is they who do it... Just checkup, if your lucky your dates might clash....

I'm pretty sure it is not named YMCA.. But may be they are collaborated and are one and the same... They have their own hostels and they arrange trips too..

But i am happy to know about this.. i may go South in some more times to come and this will surely help..

They arrange for all Himalaya trekking too.. I'm planning to go sometime through this 'coz as far as i know it is v.economical and reliable... But dates are the only problem..

If you want to visit good beaches, then I would recommend you to visit the beaches in Kerala. Check out more here Don't waste your time in visiting Chennai beaches. Well if you got time then you could visit the beaches in Chennai.

You got the visit Kerala, if you have come to South India. Some places to visit:
Alleppey or Kumarakom houseboat
Munnar
Wayanad (must see)

In Tamil Nadu: You can visit Kodaikannal or Ooty.
Check out the hotels in Kodaikannal here. Search for the required hotel in google, which will take to their website. Just call them & confirm with the tariff.

How many days have you planned for the trip.

I know you guys are thinking, that i am blindly putting up money on her cause she is my so called GF,.. and she is not trust able and that she may use my money to tour India free of cost.. i should tell you what kind of a girl Katya is.. She was studying with me at Delhi, at TCS (for an exchange program) ,, no regrets, i felt in crush for the same time i saw her,..(indeed all the batch )
but i saw, she was primarily in India to study and nothing else than that.. she was serious and studious.. she with her around 5 friends(from diff countries of CIS)

as we had to meet everyday, and i liked too her way of speaking english and her admiration of Indian culture.. she is a die hard fan of Indian films..
she came to India just for learning.. but it was me, who eventually began to love her..firstly the flirting(what can you expect from me ) but when i came to know that she is a very serious and emotional person. i went to understand, that she was damn serious.. :kiss:
i told her everything very openly. about the decease.. about the failures in life.. and she admitted me even than. cause she really loves me..

i feel bad about people saying diff things for her, because it was her motive to pay money all the money for her Indian tour.. she has been very sad, and also said that why i was filling all the money for her.. i can trust her blindly..
she is not just beautiful.. but she is a really cute girl.. i want you all guys to meet her and than reply me what you felt for her...

i owe alot for her.. and i am alive cause of her....


this may still sound Rubbish for many of you guys(who really care for me ) but she says she will pay atleast half of the money(of her part)..
