I have visited most places at caribbean to see world famous beaches like that of spains but got to one idea that caribbean can be expensive generally from Middle east and southern asia.

The currency has low rates at south Asia side so it costs people highly for opting Caribbean travel destinations. Thats a big problem unlike Europe and US. People in European nations and US or with high currency rates can mostly afford expensive Caribbean.

The hotels as said are royal and expensive at Caribbeans.Even some have duty free shopping but other things are costly like for simply traveling out there. Mostly hotels and restaurants get you a lot of heavy cost and extras like water sports and other extracurricular activities.
