One of the attractions in New Delhi is Dilli Haat, its something which gives you a taste of the whole of India. Dilli Haat is located about half and hours drive from India Gate, and has a lot of space for parking. When entering Dilli Haat you must buy entrance tickets, which at the moment costs Rs 20 per person.

When you first enter Dilli Haat you will see lots of stalls around, these stalls are usually of handicrafts and traditional products. Some stalls have products which represent different countries, include things like clothes, shoes, monuments. The main attraction of Dilli Haat is the food which is served there, there are shops or can call them food stalls which represent each state of India, from Punjab to Assam, you will find food from each state. The food will be traditional and you get an insight to the tradition and taste of the culture.

At times there are special themes which start at Dilli Haat, but we can not say at what time or when, it is something decided by the tourism board, but there is always something new going on.

The best time to visit Dilli Haat is in the evening, when the lights are on and there is a crowd of people.
