Bharuch-Town in Western India

Before i head towards more on writing on Gold coast i would like to tell you about one of the towns of india.It’s near Vadodara in Gujarat state,India.It’s named bharuch.This should slightly give you an insight of Indian towns particularly.A pretty nice town about 50-60 Kms. south of Vadodara.Actually from metro mumbai i was heading towards north and i hit upon surat-Vadodara-Ahmedabad cities.From Vadodara a medium paced Express will get you here in less than 1hr 30 minutes.There are numerous trains going via bharuch and buses too but the take long time than trains.But you will have to struggle like anything because thats the way Indian railways work.Not systematic foreign but fighting their own ways for even geting a place to stand!

Bharuch was on the way.Hardly found a Cyber cafe.Actually there are many but place i was supposed to reach was a bit on outskirts of the city.So had to jog all way for this cyber cafe.

Surf net for 1 hr at nominal rates of Rs.20($0.5) only.Some places have got Rs.10 too($0.25) for an hour.But you don’t most of the times get A.C CC.People are religious and worshippers of god.Pious believers.A religious type actually opposite from western influence but there has been a great impact of western culture too here in India.They perform’Vaastu’(An auspicious ritual performed while buying a new house).They do various types of poojas,yagnas,etc. all have their diversed and different meanings.Feeling hot in Summer and especialy in afternoons heat is unbearable even for natives.I got a cyber cafe of Sify retail chain(Largest Retail broadband chain in India).

Bharuch is a modern town with amenities.Don’t expect 5 star hotels of even 3 star hotels!Simple lodging.Some areas are good while some are worse with unlawed traffic and people spitting here and there.I will packup my bags now and head eascape from here atleast because Vadodara a good city has got some very good things to see and visit and even best types of hotels.Places where Indian cricketers arrive while they are here.Welcome hotel,Holiday inn,Taj residency,etc…..Will tell you more about all these and then again tell you something of activities and fun at Gold coast(Australia).
