Russia,largest country of disintegrated USSR is not much amazing.Most area geographically is very cold.Its capital moscow and other places are only worth going.Moscow is the costliest city in the world.Russia,the preacher of communism during cold war is now taking a rapid turn towards democracy.Its a glorious country still.Russia should be visited during summer times,avoid chilly winters.But you enjoy snow and playing with it during midsummer when environment is very pleasant and you will chance to visit green beautiful meadows.

The currency of Russia is Rubles.Its population is 14 crores.Its area is double of second largest Canada and Russia has a natural gift of huge reservoirs of natural and mineral resources.Russia is a part of Eurasia(Europe and asia).It comes both under Europe and Asia.The western russia,from Ural mountains is considered European continent while east of Ural mountains which is larger part comes under Asia continent.It is transcontinental and considered a part of Eurasia.

What attracts people to russia is its meadows and natural scenery during spring and mid-summer time.Moscow at a glance is a superb city with high construction and economy.Moscow is the biggest and most urban metro is Russia.

Russia is such a big country that describing it is always less.Its geographical variation is very much and has 7 time zones starting from +3 to +12.Russia extends from Siberia in the north to the dry countries of the middle east.Russia has too many subdivisions.23 oblasts and 14 Republics.Russia has dry continental type of climate.The north touches arctic sea.Northern Russia summer season are warm and good to visit.But winter temperature drops upto -50 degree Celsius.Metros like Moscow and St. petersburg have moderate climate comparatively.

Russia still remains the greatest nation area wise from Baltic states estonia,latvia of the west to pacific ocean in the east,seperated by alaska only by Bering strait.The regions north-east of sakha are very chilly.The northern states are quite uispiing to visit in winters.

Russia can be popularly seen by Trans-siberian railway.Its a 6 days journey by train of 10,000 km from Moscow to vladivostok on extreme east,pacific coast.You can also see Lake Baikal,a huge lake.A perfect brief way to see the main spots of the country.

Russians celebrate Russian Winter festival in metros like Moscow,st. petersburg and even Novgorod.Music spring is an international classical festival of St. petersburg.Another festival is white nights,a 10 day festival in June month.I can write a whole big book on history of Russia and its present times.The New year is celebrated with pomp show.They have vodka and merry celebrations.
