I had visited mahabaleshwar 2 years ago,that too in a very large group which enabled everything planned in advance.This post shall be applicable to foreigners also and believe me,mahabaleshwar is a beautiful hill station.We Reserved or booked our train tickets to Mumbai.There we hired a bus that went to mahabaleshwar via pune.It goes round and round uphill slightly.

There is a big enough lake on the top of this hill station!A lake on hill station-large.Here you shall book your stay at a resort and there are many of them here.Do boating,eat rasberries and strawberries a lot.You will find these open vendors(you wouldnt have shops) almost right from stepping your leg outside your Bus.Then there is a mahabaleshwar market which glitters in the evening and night with many outside tourists.Here you will find Cheap jams and syrups of best quality,even you can buy it from factory which you will visit while going back.There are many casinos and its fun playing there.

Another activity which you can be proud to do is Horse riding,you will enjoy horse riding,taking you at the speed of a car and making your heart come to your mouth.All this isn’t much costly and of course boating which is there on good scale.

Have camp fires in the nights,watch TV’s and enjoy at this hillstation in hotel rooms.The scenery which mahabaleshwar has,is sometimes just umcomparable.
