Thread: Shimla.

Its the summer capital of Himachal Pradesh. And its one of the best tourist spot and best time to visit is New Year as there are open air parties. There are some other attractions near it like
1. Jakoo Temple
2. Maal Road
3. National Museum

The monkeys at Jakoo are unique and very intelligent and they will take away your spectacles or any eatables that you carry and so don't carry them along with you.
Maal road is famous for the market and girls that roam there.

I have not visited the place but have heard a lot about this. I wish i could be there soon. I have visited the south indian tourist spots of which i like the hill station Ooty and Kodaikanal very much. In ooty we also have the army training camp. The climate is there so chill always and this month they went upto even negative temp. This is often seen in north india but hardly in south india.

maybe u can upload the picture for this place...

I have seen this place several times and i would say that now a days it is not that much fun visitng Shimla. Other tourist places like Manali is much better to visit rather then Shimla.

Yes it is true that tourists now like to visit Manali more then Shimla but i would say that Shimla still if the best place. Like if i have time i still like to visit Shimla in my vocations.

I had been to Shimla for a many times and i am very much fed up of this place now. It is not the same place it used to be earlier and more over the last time when i visited in Winter it didn't even had snow fall. I know this is something which is really very much disappointing but this is what made me fed up of this place and another thing i dont like about Shimla is that it is now very much dirty.

Its not Jooka temple .. its jaako temple and it is shimla.. you just go toward the lakar bazar.. at the starting there is a way for upward and from there you go to the jaakoo temple.
