Default eat pray love Ashram in Southern India

Another year, another time to celebrate life. The yogic tradition has existed for thousands of years and only recently have the teaching reached a broader public. In the last few years a book was published entitled "Eat Pray Love" which discussed the importance of a global lifestyle. It also give much attention to India and it's rich cultural heritage which was covered under the "Pray" section of the book. Ashram living was the highlight of the authors book who discussed the significance of living and learning the yogic principles.

I have lived in an ashram for over 2 years and can personally vouch for the benefits of spending time in an ashram community. Although sometimes challenging, life at an ashram lead to greater self realization and inner growth. I hope that everyone has the opportunity to live within an ashram environment for some time and experience the personal transformation that occurs.

    Cheers,
