Generally you go to any gurdwara and the prashad will always taste good!
Gujarat / Ahmedabad How Dare no one has posted about ahmedabad ?
The state which has highest consumption of Edible oil, Ghee, Butter, cheese, ice cream !!!
The state which has most numbers of Jains and city which serves Jain Chicken, Jain Omlette (without Lasun, Pyaaz) etc etc...
The state where 70% of males do not prefer to have Dinner without a couple of 30/60 ML drinks (its a dry State) !!!
Take my word people... You dont see Kind of foodies you see in Gujarat !
To cross verify... you may ask any international tour operator or a person working at outbound clearings at international airports.
Whenever I travel to Karnal or Chandigarh. I always stops at Sukhdev's Dhaba and have some Paranthas with Tea and ButterI go down to Murthal from Delhi whenever I get a chance at night to have food at one of the dhabas there..
The ones I like there are Gulshan Dhaba and Sukhdev Dhaba

Smokin Joe's There is a Pizza franchisee Smokin Joe's at many places in India... I love to go to Smokin joe's whenever I crave for Pizza... In Pune I've visited 3 outlets at J.M. Road, Kothrud & Bavdhan... At Patna its near Maurya Lok(C.P. of Patna), Harniwas complex to be precise...
I've tried almost every non-veg Pizzas there... But the one whose thought bring water in my mouth is Chicken Mexicana... The topping has a thick layer of cheese on it, where Hot Chicken, Chicken Salami, Mushrooms, Capsicums etc. are spread evenly...
Best thing about Mexicana is that its little spicey which corresponds to the Indian taste... And the quantity of chicken & mushroom is sure to fill the carnal desires of a starving omnivore...
I prefer going to Smokin Joe's over any other Pizza outlet...

Thats sounds good, i haven't tasted pizza from Papa Jones, but heard a lot about it, anyone had pizza from there?
When it comes to food, I don't have any problem since I eat anywhere.
well this is my first post...n wht better way to strt than to talk about food....i am a complete foodie....love to try n experiments different types of food arnd the globe! travelling is one thing i do extensively n tht makes me get a taste of different kinds of cusines arnd!
but being from Ahmedabad.....lemme first write up on the best places to eat around....!
gujarati food is sumthing eveyrone shud taste....its got lots of varities to eat from sweets to spicy stuff......i guess eveyone wud have heard khaman-dhokla ...thnks to ekta kapoor!!! but there are lots of varities available....! if in ahmedabad....one shud definately visit a place called "Gordhan Thaal " ...one of the best places to enjoy gujarati food .....worth an experience!

Another place to goto in ahmedabad is "Vishala" --- This place is a lil in outskirts of the city...about 20 min from the western ahd. It has the total village kinda feel to it...Also, theres a musuem which is worth visiting.....theres lot to kno on gujarati culture out there.....the food there is jus yummmmmm......everyhting grown in their farms arnd the place....! the waiters wearing the traditional gujarati dress n wid a smiling face jus keep on serving u.....its like the place to be....!
Also there is lots of junk food available n the one which is available on the road side is jus yumm...! a whole street famous for all the varities from pizzas, sandwiches, panipuris....n lots more is LAW Garden! Anyone been here once wud keep on cuming here....
Cafes n Kitlis r like places to b arnd till late nites......for chai n coffees n lots of other amazing coffee shops .....
We ve also got lots of different kinds of places from North Indian to South Indians, Mexican to Italian.....Being a gujju....food is like the most imp thing in our lives.....!
