Fringe is a new science fiction television series. It has been co-created by J. J. Abrams, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. The TV series first premiered in the United States on 9th of September, 2008. It was premiered on the Fox network.
Fringe follows the characters FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham, scientist Walter Bishop, and his son Peter. These three regularly investigate various aspects of fringe science, that include things like, levitation, telepathy, invisibility, genetic mutation and reanimation
All over the world, there are a series of apparent experiments being occurred. These experiments are known as "the Pattern" as a collective term. They include things like, newborn baby who ages rapidly and dies within a few hours as well as a bus full of passengers who are trapped in a strange substance that resembles the trapping of mosquitoes in amber. These things are occurring for reasons that are largely unknown.
The team of Olivia, Peter, and Walter is in charge of investigating these strange events and determine their source. A company is connected to the pattern and is known as Massive Dynamic. It is actually a leading global research company it is famous because it holds the patents for a large number of new and important technologies.
Throughout the first half of the first season, it is orchestrated by Mitchell Loeb who is a rogue FBI agent, that some of these events are actually larger plan, to break a man out of prison and kidnap Olivia.
The show is set in Boston, Massachusetts. An edited version of the show premiered on the Nine Network in Australia. It premiered in the United Kingdom on Sunday the October 5th in 2008 on Sky1. It premiered in Sweden 3 days earlier than UK and 1 day earlier than Sweden in Ireland.
