For people who do not know about roadies:
MTV Roadies is a reality television show which airs on MTV India. The show was created by Raghu Ram and is hosted by Rannvijay.

He's the host Ranvijay (He's the winner of the first season)

Episode 1: MTV Hero Honda Roadies - Hell Down Under

I was looking at the watch,when will clock strike 7pm.I was very eagerly waiting for the show.And at last, the show begun....

All the 20 roadies arrived one by one,some came in groups.They got assembled in a hotel.Then they got the scroll (First scroll).They were asked to come down for a party.Then in the middle of the party, they got the second scroll. After that they got assembled near the Karizma bikes. There came Ranvijay & Raghu.

The following 10 roadies were selected & were asked to prove themselves to proceed ahead in the journey.They were to do some task next day.

The next day, all 20 roadies arrived @ some open place.
The 10 people (who had to perform the tasks) were divided in to 2 teams of 5.A yellow team & a green team.This was done through a lot.

SUZANNA MUKHARJEE

BHANU PRATAP SINGH RANA
VICKY ARORA

The task:
To eat paratas.Some 30~50 paratas were placed on a drum.

To reach that drum, they had to cross some hurdles.
First hurdle was to cross a net (some what like which we seen in the military training).
The second hurdle was to crawl under the barb wire over the kichad (i dint get the english word)..Like the punishment Hrithik does in Lakshya.

Before they perform the task.The thing is that their hands & legs will be tied to each other (All were made to stand next to each other. The left hand/leg was ties to right hand/leg of the next person & so on...).

They had to eat the parata without using their hands.The team which eats the maximum no. of paratas will be the winner & the team which loses would have to go back home.

Both the team performed the task very well. They fell,they got up. The way the yellow team fell from the net was....oh my god.

Atllast,Ranvijay announced the results...I was hoping for the green team.
Green team ate 19 paratas & the yellow team 21. Yellow team won....:clap:

It was the end of journey for these following roadies. (Green Team)

Vote Out:
One guy from the yellow team was to be voted out.
All the 15 roadies voted against those 5 roadies (yellow team).

At last Sufi got voted out.


I believe the reason why he was voted was like other felt that he might be a strong contender. Well that's the way the roadies show is...

Lets see who get voted out next week.
There's only rule in Roadies....Thats is....There is no rule.


I will try my best to update this thread as what happened,who got voted out every week (Saturday).

20 to 14 in first episode itself.......!!!

othe big news is that Raghu is quitting the show (not too sure abt it)!!!

damn !! i missed it, i m gonna watch repeat tomoro at 12 noon

yeah man, but i saw the season preview , n i think this season the action was more than any prev seasons, so keep watching the fuun

good planning i would say, varisha would hav been a good contender so they got her out,

so Varisha got voted out....My sis was saying that the boys got badly screwed up...will watch the replay episode this week...

Yeah man the episode was hilarious and was a bit of embarassing too especially for the girls if they however feel how it pains when you are hit by a rod fitted with a spring action at a males private part !!!!

really worth watching the episode you will be laughing all the time
Let me tell you something if you havent hurt at that part then you are lucky because it pains like hell and you rally see stars in daytime!!!! as i've been hit several times

well the task reminded of roadies 5.0 task.....

the diff. was that last time it was embarrasing and this time it was painful.....

In the previous episode (01/17/2009), the roadies were divided in two teams: Red team & Blue team.

Red Team


Blue Team - (Varsha got voted out in the previous episode)

In yesterday's (01/24/2009) there was more of drama....These roadies are so behaving like kids....no maturity @ all. Yesterday's task was to perform this kalbelia dance. Its a very famous dance in Rajasthan.

Shoes were all thrown at them. In spite of that they all performed very well.
Finally the red team won..They have Rs 80,000 in their kitty..While the blue team are yet to open their account.

No body was voted out in yesterday's episode.

But at the end of the episode they got a scroll saying that every roadie must decide of 2 other roadies from his team whom he doesn't wants to be in the show...

Its going to an exciting episode next week...

Tamanna's suicide thing was too much..I dunno what she was up to...what was she trying to do in front of the cameras....

I hate Pradeep (the sardar)...He is hitting the poor, innocent Dev....
What is he (Pradeep) try to do...Is he trying to behave like a hero...
Anyways in the next episode,Pradeep is going to get screwed from Ranvijay.

well tamanna i hate the way she speaks n i was wondering wht happe to her tht she went up .....i dont think so shez gonna commit suicide over such a thing.....than she shud b da one thrown out....!!!

about dev n pradeeps issues....yea it was sandeep who d started all of it.....but dev our guy is such an irritating character......wht does he think of him self....? stud....ask him to look @ da mirror....!

the task was fun....i really liked the way girls performed.....n damn samrat had totally lost it ........i felt...
