Thread: Roswell the TV series

We have all heard the theories that aliens roam all around the world, creating relationships with human. Well I cannot prove the theories but can tell you a way to get entertained by the theme. You can hire the popular American science fiction television series, Roswell on DVD.

Roswell was created by Jason Katims. The series premiered on television on October 6, 1999 on The WB. After that the series moved to UPN for its third season. The last episode of the series aired on 14th May in the year, 2002. In the United Kingdom, the TV series was aired as both Roswell and Roswell High.

The series pilot was an adaptation on the Roswell High young adult book series. The writers of the book series also became staff writers for the television series.

The plot of Roswell focuses on the lives of four teenage alien-human hybrids that live in Roswell, New Mexico. They are the survivors of the UFO crash that happened in 1947 which was popularly known as The Roswell Incident. The teenagers named Isabel Evans, Max Evans, Tess Harding and Michael Guerin were sent to Earth as a type of cloned replacements. They were the clones of the royal family of Antar, an alien planet. Their counterparts died in a war, and these "Royal Four" will one day return to Antar to save their entire race.

The plot also centers on the relationships shared by the hybrids and their human companions, especially those shared by Max and Liz Parker. The storyline of the three seasons focuses on the hybrids and their attempt to survive as humans and hide their alien sides. Meanwhile they also try to learn more about their alien powers, while simultaneously figuring out a way of getting back to their home.

thanks a lot for the info. such stories - aliens & ufo hunting, paranormal, ancient wonders, archeological etc ... are topics of utter interest to me. i hope someday we will be having a section to discuss these thing here ...
