Thread: Rakhi Ka Swayamvar

Ok let me make this clear first of all, I'm no big fan of Rakhi Sawant!

Rakhi Sawant is back in another reality TV show, and this time the show is about her and only her. The new reality show is called Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, and its about how Rakhi chooses her swayamvar (groom) the whole process of marriage, from choosing him, asking him questions to the marriage, everything will be shown on television.
It will be an interesting programme to watch as im sure there will be funny parts to it, and just see how Rakhi go about this and creates any havoc in her own show........hahahaha!

The show starts tonight at 9pm on NDTV Imagine.

I'll rather prefer working in office than watching "Rakhi Ka Swayamvar"..

Ok the programme has started, and its quite good as in funny!
The first guy was too good for Rakhi, couldn't believe it when me and my sister saw the first guy who wanted to marry Rakhi!!!!!
There are policemen, fitness instructors, NRI's and all kinds!

This is the new way where 'celebrity' marriage become business.I think few other can also start like this then no time will left in any private channel.
So money is the ultimate thing in business world when ever get the opportunity just earn it. :drool:

I think thats the reason many are watching it because its more of a comedy entertainer.

LOL. You do not know me.

Absolutely no chance. What I have seen is some promos during other programs.

I have no time to watch TV soaps - till today, I have never watched a single saas-bahu episode, any of the so called reality shows, etc. I used to watch Laughter Challenge till that became boring too.

I only stick to infotainment channels, some news and sports. I do watch sitcoms though, Everybody Loves Raymond is a particular favourite of mine and I own the full 40-DVD collection of Friends - Season 1 to 10.

ouch.....getting married is such a personal thing for every individual....how cud thy jus come up with this ****....n that too with rakhi sawant....but i thght she already had a boyfren...if i recollect...wht happ to him?

i m sure it ll b a nonsensical show.....n tht too a channel like NDTV showing it accross.....

me too....def i m not tht crazy tht i would want to watch such a show...as such i watch tv jus for sometime in a week....n tht too this.....NAHI!

omg ......ppl in India ve gone mad kya....rushing after rakhi sawant......to get married....i soo hate her from her looks to body to the way she portrays herself.....

Aashaka im sure your not the only one who hates her even I do, I find her quite annoying.

Well regards to her getting married on TV, well how better way to get publicity and to be on television and the news, after all thats what she is known for.

In the rest of time he likes photography

Now i think such show is totally useless neither comedy nor interesting.
Is television show is the area of any specific person to choice the husband ?

When I said "intellectual bankrupcy", I meant that we audiences are being taken for a ride. But we Indians are obsessed with Film, Cricket and to an extent politics. Anything on this sells.
