Thread: Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena

There is going to be a new reality show Ek Khiladi Ek Hasina which is going to be aired on Colors.
This show is something not only for the females but something which will interest males as well and the reason for this is that its a dance show with female tv actors who will be partnered with Indian cricketers.
The show is going to be hosted by Sandya Mridul, and the judges of the show are Wasim Akram and Sushmita Sen.

The contestants of the show are below along with who their partners are:

Mona Singh and Harbhajan Singh
Surveen Chawla and Sreeshant
Shama Sikander and Vinod Kambli
Nigar Khan and Dinesh Kartik
Ashima Bhalla and Irfan Pathan
Barkha Bisht and Nikhil Chopra

This show is going to be quite exciting and good to watch as we will be able to see the Indian cricket team dance and this time in a competition.

Crictainment??! Yuck the contestants , suck!

Yeh contestants are not good, apart from Mona and Harbhajan but it would be good to see the cricketers dance, or make fools out of them selves. Well i know for me got to see it once to see what its like, and let post the comments on here.

hey sreesanth can dance pretty well..so lets give him some credit.

but i think the shows a complete mockery of our sport situation..thanks to the indian habit of confusin cricketers(if ther is uch a word) for celebrities

i like harbhajan's Punjabi + English = Pinglish
and trust me harbhajan is a good dancer.. i don't remember the name of album but i saw him dancing in some video song at IITF last year hmy:

Sorry to contradict you smoothvibes..but in my opinion harbhajan can't dance..even i don't know the album name but i remember the song (abhi yaad nahi aa raha :52: lol)...in my opinion Sreesant is the one who can rock the dancefloor

Dont argue guys, lets just wait for the program to start then we can judge who dances better

saw harbhajan was dancing with a female...

@manish now go and check that.. see harbhajan can dance well... there is only one different thing... he know bhangra only and was just trying to mixup steps

me too saw the AD ...its pathetic..
but im wondering wen do these guys find the time to play cricket with so other extra curricular activies..

I dont watch this show but i ll tell u what ...our cricketers are gr8 at showbiz .... you know the you tube is full of sreesanth's singing and dancing videos ...Well all my Australian friends have seen him on 'you tube' after his silly antics against those Aussies and now he s such a big hero there ! ... they say they wanna come to india just to meet him....they always sing praises of his singing talent especially

As silly as they may be, they get what they want ..... .. a lot of attention

You cant judge anything yet it was a 30 second ad, how much can you see in this much time and judge!

Well after watching one of the episodes of this show i was impressed to see the efforts put in by the cricketers. Some of them dance quite well especially Sreesanth and Vinod Kambli are very good dancers.

This week the team of Ashima Bhalla and Irfan Pathan got eliminated because Irfan was at a match and his partner Ashima had to perform on her own, they had to take out one couple as it happens each week so it was her. Although she was told by Sushmita that she hasn't disqualified or eliminated in a bad way, so there was a mutual understanding there!

I seen in some of the episodes of this programme that Harbhajan Singh always seems to have a problem with someone and things get a bit nasty, something else is going to happen next week too, so will watch it to find out what happens.

VHP, Bajrang Dal file court complaint against Bhajji

After the Akal Takht, Harbhajan Singh's 'Ravana act' in a TV dance reality show has earned the ire of VHP and other Hindu outfits who hav
e filed a complaint in a local court here against the cricketer.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Kanchan Mahi fixed the hearing on Monday after Punjab VHP spokesman Vijay Singh Bhardwaj and others alleged in their complaint that Harbhajan, his co-participant TV actress Mona Singh and the channel that aired the programme had "intentionally and deliberately" hurt the religious feelings of Hindus.

Bhardwaj was referring to the 28-year-old maverick off-spinner's performance during the show 'Ek Khiladi, Ek Hasina' aired recently.

Arvind Thakur, who is also chairman of Akhil Bhartiya Rajput Council, and the Punjab Unit of Bajrang Dal are also party to the complaint.

The Akal Takht, the temporal seat of Sikhs, had earlier taken exception to the behaviour of the Sikh cricketer which, it said, had caused severe resentment among the community and had sought an apology from him.

"To wear a tilak (vermilion) on the forehead and to dress like Ravana and dance with a woman publicly is highly disgusting. The act was shown on several TV channels and the Sikh community can never tolerate such behaviour," Jathedar Gyani Gurbachan Singh had said on Wednesday.

Yeh he is, but at times it his own fault!

Like any other show Ek Khiladi and Ek Hasina showed the tiffs between the couples against other couples. Its becoming a regular thing on reality shows that contestants fight like little kids!

The show isn't as exciting as i thought it would be or it may that its is on at a time when there are other programs on too, which means that Ek Khiladi and Ek Hasina gets put aside!

Hope he learns the lesson this time

Irfaan Khan was at a match recently and his partner performed on her own, but she got eliminated, but in a ad today i saw that both of them are back in the contest. The host of show says how do you like our surprise and the other cricketers don't look very happy!

Wonder what will happen on Friday when they air that episode!

I heard that the Shreesant's partner, (dont know her name it think its Aashima) is his real girlfriend, is that so??

if shrisanth said that himself, then i wouldnt count on it. He's one big mouth.

No Aashima is Irfaan Khan's partner in the show.

Shreesanth's partner is Surveen Chawla. I also heard that they have some good chemistry and stuff! Well is the news is true that they are bf and gf, then they have high chances of winning the show, as they will show good chemistry and have a slight difference in their performance. But then its not always the case as there are some partners on the show who are not couples but are performing very well!

So what's going on in the show?? who and how many left?
