I think the show have reached in second level, they are now shortlisting the choosen participants

yup... 28 contestants got shortlisted yesterday... there was a singer Bhanu... who keeps coming to Indian Idol since last 3 or 4 seasons... And never surpassed 2nd round... Yesterday also he was rejected... but then he started drama n all with anu malik in company... he said that he'll nevr return to Indian Idol again... cuz judges never allow him a chance to go to 3rd round where public voting starts... so all judges got moved and made an exception for him and cleared him for nxt round...

Now I feel... That Bhanu might have gained a lot of Public sympathy yesterday... And even if he dosn't sing well... He'll get votes from our emotional Janta... In process a more deserving candidate will gt eliminated each round... So watch out for that guy...

P.S.- I'm sure he'll not become indian idol...

Yeh i saw that Bhano person too, well you got to give it to him for trying this many times to get into the contest!

He did try the emotional thing and it worked which made him go to the next round, but using this crying and emotional blackmailing is really bad!

That girl which the deep voice who said she liked Kailash Kher also kind of tried it, but it didn't work!

I think there are only very few good singers this time, but it may be because they haven't been heard as much, lets wait till they start performing properly!

Even I felt that thr r not good singers this time... but yeah u r right.. its too early...
I have expectations from a girl whoz from UP... Banaras or lakhnau...

she belongs from a very good musical gharana types family... but yesterday she lost her way while singing with that healthy guy(he was kool)... maybe she needs a bit of exposure... But we need a female indian idol this time...

Yes we do, ive seen generally that in majority of the singing reality shows its the boys who win, i think the girls get too nervous and give in, which is why they get left behind!

It was only until recent a girl from the the show Junoon Kuch Kar Dikanhe Ka where a girl won it!

U forgot... Sunidhi Chauhan was the 1st to win... In "Meri Awaaz Suno"... it was long time back... I don't think gals sing badly in later rounds or give in... normally public vote for male singers... even gals do that... I've seen my friends sis... who used to send around 1000 of sms in each voting period for "Kaazi"... I hope I'm recalling the name right... He was a Kashmiri contestent on Zee's music show I guess...

If judges decide I'm sure we wud have more female singers winning than only a couple to name... Sunidhi chauhan won cuz of judges like lata mangeshkar...and she didn't dissapoint either...

Oh I wasn't aware of that, i never saw that program which is why i didn't know about it!

From the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa children's show it was a girl in that who won, although she was a kid but it still counts i suppose!

Well lets see who it is time in Indian Idol!

Yes that show was telecast on DD when sunidhi was 16yrs kid I guess... she was very impressive ofcourse... shez a product of a contest only... she became a hit after singing in "Mast"...
