    Default New Uninor Mobile Service

There is now a new GSM service on the block. It seems the booming market of Indian Telecom Industry is attracting lots of entrepreneurs from worldwide to experiment and launch prosperous business of providing mobile connectivity services. Uninor is a product of Unitech Wireless, a joint venture between Norway giant Telenor and real estate giant Unitech that has been launched in December 4, 2009 and it will start its services across states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Bihar.

It is said that the Uninor mobile service would be spread across 1000, distributors and would be available for customers from above 1000 points of sale. You can find nearly 12000 base stations that would be set up to support Uninor India in seven circles of Telecom.

According to J F Baksaas, CEO of Telenor Group, “It has been highly satisfying to witness today’s launch of Uninor GSM mobile services across India. By providing quality mobile services, I strongly believe that Uninor India will bring about a significant and positive impact in the daily lives of its customers.”

There are two call rates plans from Uninor to attract more customer bases – one is Call more at 29 paise and the other is Talk more at 29 paisa. This is claimed as the cheapest in the market and the company would really benefit from both those who make more than four calls a day and those who make long calls a day.

The new prepaid connection would come for Rs. 49.00 and lifetime validity and talktime of Rs 5. You also have 250 minutes of free Uninor Prepaid Card special launch offer that will enable you to call local as well as STD calls quite easily. It also indicated to plan more such facilities that soon people start taking the GSM service and give tough competition to major big players.

^^They provide edge internet, but gprs settings are unknown.. and plans are unknown. when someone ask for settings by self care portal in Sim services he/she gets message application down,,.. so this means they are very new. something like "shop just opened"

apart gprs and good plans, getting a special looking number is high probablity with Uninor..
