Default Video IP Camera

Does anyone have experience of using an IP camera on any indian ISP network?

Most of the IP cameras advice having at least a 128kbps connection and so was wondering if anyone has used one in practice and how it runs in reality.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Anything less then 512kbps will not really get you any good results and if you are looking for good resolution picture without any hickups I would advise atleast a 1mbps line.

Faster the connection the better performance, you will bound to have some disturbing problem with a 128kbps connection.

IP camera thing is a little different... its a camera you can access from the net from any where in the world.. You dont have to have anyone on the other end.

The uses include:

You can have a camera fitted on your factory.. office or even your house to keep a watch from a remote location.

And this required in my opinion for good results atleast 512 kbps ... I would suggest a 1mbps line atleast to get a good moving live picture.
