Thread: videcon dth too bright to watch

i recently bought a dvd dth combo from videocon for rs 3000 which includes 6 month free diamond pack and installation charges. this offer seemed to be good but the contrast or brightness is so much that if the person on screen is wearing a white shirt and the background is white then all you can see is the head of the person.please ask for demo and only if satisfied go for this d2h

Just log a call with Customer care. this is not a permamnent bug, this can be easily fixed. I was also facing similar issue,the issue gets resolved by some chip modification performed by Videocon engineer. Enjoy watching D2H

Dear friend i also have Videocon dth but not faced problem mentioned by you there may problem with your TV colour and contrast setting.

dear change your satlite box from custmercare.after changing satlite box your problem will be solved.

I am using Videocon d2h satellite dvd , it worked for 3 months and after that DVD was not working, service personal came and replaced a card their onwards am getting whitish background picture , kind of too brightness particularly in white background. 2 times idiotic technician changed the card and the problem still persist, they claiming its TV problem. But I checked with my Tata sky connection and am not facing said above problem. “N” number of times called up customer care and raised complaint but now nearly a month till time no one responded. Videcond2h Technician from Bangalore are hopeless they just screwed me.
Those who are planning to buy Videocon d2h please don’t go for it, this is recommendation from my experience.

They should provide upgraded box if such chip modification is required why burden the customer to go through changing the card etc etc..
