Thread: Is the Videocon D2H processor slow?

Hi

I am planning to get a DTH connection.
I was pretty sure to get a videocon connection until I was told that videocon processor is really slow and it takes quite some time to even switch the channel.

Is it true? How is it compared with other providers?

I have a Videocon DTH LCD TV with two years free connection, using since June 2010.
Initial start-up on power-on takes about 5-8 seconds.
Switching channel is instant.

No dude... i'm using it from 5-6 months and it is working fine.

the basic model is quite slow. However the HD box is the best buy because the remote is good and the processing speed is better than the basic model.
