    Well all ye gamers here s some juicy news about the famed Prince of Persia series (game and an upcoming movie !)......Keeeeewl

    Well after the successful series of Prince of Persia Trilogy

    Ubisoft is about to release its next installment of prince of persia ..... The details are still vague ....The name has nt been decided yet ... possible names could be
    Prince of Persia 4, Prince of Persia 0/Zero, and Prince of Persia: Ghosts in the Past.There is also a rumour that the prince's name which has never been revealed before is finally revealed in the next saga ! [Aamir ]
    It may be released next year in 2009

    The game, which is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and DS (but not Wii, strangely enough) and is being handled by the team behind The Two Thrones, will take a step in a different direction compared to recent 3D Prince of Persia s.

    The franchise's graphics are not the only thing changing this time around. There's a totally new story, which begins with not a prince but a simple adventurer. Ubisoft is not taking the "prince" out of Prince of Persia, though. By the time the game ends, the character will be a prince. Before that, though, you'll have to heal the world. In Prince of Persia, the world has been corrupted by an evil god, who has destroyed all life in the world. You're challenged with the task of traveling the land, healing it one area at a time.

    I thought POP is going to end with 3rd edition. This is awesome.

    Bloody cool pic .....

    yeah ......actually this is the start of a new Trilogy(3 tittles series) !(with completely different story)...... I dunno what connection there is between Prince from previous tittles and the new one


    And in the new prince of persia there will be less fighting and more platforming ....

    Yeah. I googled about POP 4 and got this pics.

    The prince look totally different in POP4 (or maybe someone else is playing the main character). Also looks like he have companion with him like the other POP series.

    Ofcourse There is an official confirmation ..... Check my link they have already released a demo video ... it was shown in E3 Germany (Gaming conference )

    Yo no prince without babes ..... She s a healer or something in this game ....Name starts with E .. forgot it

    Prince of persia was one of my favorite game during my college days.I am happy to see that it does have a large fan base.

    You mean the one with a demon chasing prince. Dahaka. Kaileena was awesome(wicked). It was really hard for me to find a way around in that. So I ended up downloading a walk through guide.

    No. I was actually talking about the Empress of time(red). Not the soldier woman(black- she look awful).

    I can't wait to play POP 4. I hope I can play it with my config.

    Prince of Persia 2 had a nice story line and great alternative endings.


    Is there a POP edition called Rival Sword ?

    Yes Yes ... I know Kalina comes back in two thrones ....only to die finally ...you ll also have to fight the old man 'THE VIZIER' . the prime villlain in the series .The guy who tricks you into unlocking the sands of time .Also gameplay is very different and entertaining in TT

    I thought the assistant looked 'HOT' post a nice pic if you can . as you r better than me at finding good pics .

    Want one Better than this pic man .....

    I just checked found out. Prince of Persia Rival Swords and Prince of Persia Two Thrones are the same. The PC version is referred as Two Thrones and Wii and PSP version is referred as Rival Swords.

    Prince of Persia Warrior Within was converted for to Wii and PSP as Prince of Persia Revelations.

    Prince of Persia 4 is available for XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 (Limited edition- $ 59.99)

    Maybe the PC version will be released soon. Hope it will be as good as Prince of Persia 1-3.
