by the way i have P4 1.82 GHZ Cpu.

and my father bought a new laptop with pentium dual core 2.00 Ghz.........
and a site tells me that in it 316MB Graphics Card with DirectX 9.0c compatible..........

now can i play nfs undercover also?????????????

Does the laptop feature 316MB GPU or such a GPU can be integrated into the laptop?

GPU - Graphical processing Unit aka Graphics Card

U can find it listed in the device manager.

A GPU is always there in MotherBoard but generally they are not good enough to play latest games. Graphics cards from Nvidia and ATI are also GPUs which can run the games properly but have to be installed seperately on the MotherBoard.

Thats correct. But Even Intel's Extreme Graphics will be listed in Device Manager which is a integrated gpu but not good enough to play NFS Pro Street.

I had heard negative reviews about NFS UC too..

Gamespot has given the game a rating of just 7.0/10.

The last time i heard they had closed one of their major studios exclusively used for developing NFS series..
