Many of the board members maybe familiar with ESET. According to a recent study conducted by them online gaming is proving to a easy haven for security threats. The methodology is as follows. The hacker gains access to the credentials of an account. Then he messages to all the buddies present in the buddy list of the particular player, usually it would be modified URL to a webpage hosting malicious content. The others would visit the website only to get infected because they chose to trust their friend.

hmmm... interesting ... but such spamming with malicious links in online games are not new.
