Default Prince of Persia: Warrior Within - Confusing, isn't??

Have anyone played the second part of Prince of Persia series, The Warrior Within?? If yes, have you ever taken any help from anywhere e.g. friend, internet etc.

To me, its is most confusing & the complicated game I have played till date. The reason is in order to stop the Empresses by creating the "Sand of Times" (Detail in the first part of the series) the prince has to go from present to past & vice versa time to time, & this is really annoying sometimes. I am loosing interest from the game, though I want to finish the series by playing the third part too.
    What is your opinion?

Prince is being hunted by Dahaka for changing the time and cheating death using "Sands of Time". So he goes to the island where the "Sands of Time" is created to stop/kill empress Kaileena before making it.

In the island, Prince uses sand powered time travelling portals to go to the time before the "Sands of Time" is created, but to get to where the empress is he needs to do certain things in both times (present/past).He needs kill many powerful sand creatures sent by the empress and also evade Dahaka while doing this.

This game has alternative endings and you normally wont see the best ending unless you follow a walk-through guide.

This is as much as I understood after playing the game once. The story is a little confusing at first. I used a walk-through guide, after finishing 3/4 of the game when it got really tough.

Thanks for the advice, honestly I have used the guide few times. As there is no %age mentioned, don't know how much game is left, but i hope i don't have to leave it in middle.

Yes some games do get clueless hence feel like leaving it half the way.

I felt like than when I played Halo. It was good at first but became boring when I couldn't find the way and aliens kept coming from all directions. I had to rely on Walk-thorough guide all the time after the first half.
