Sony and Polyphony Digital have said that they are dropping the idea to make a full-fledged game out of Gran Turismo HD.
The two companies would now provide a GT demo on the PlayStation Store for a limited time instead.
Gran Turismo HD Concept would be out on December 24 and would include ten cars and two layouts of a single track.
The developers of the game would now concentrate on Gran Turismo 5. The companies said that they are considering releasing more such concept games in between. The fifth proper Gran Turismo title’s release is expected to be released sometime in 2008.
This news would come as a huge disappointment for the buyers of the Sony Playstation 3 gaming console.
