Jeff Bell is new entertainment marketing chief at Microsoft
Software giants Microsoft have named Jeff Bell as the new global marketing chief for its Interactive Entertainment Business group. He would be involved in the marketing and promotion of the company’s Xbox gaming consoles and the videogames for personal computers.
He is currently the vice president of product strategy for DaimlerChrysler’s Chrysler Group and would be joining Microsoft from June 12.
Peter Moore, vice president of Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business and former head of Xbox marketing spoke about this new announcement: “Jeff brings a unique mix of consumer experience and innovation to the interactive entertainment business. His track record in driving automotive video game strategies and his influence on urban marketing plans are indicators of his expertise and leadership.”
