Play.com taking pre-orders for Sony Playstation 3 for £550
As per incoming reports, consumers can already place their orders for the upcoming Sony Playstation 3 gaming console on Play.com website for £550.
The expected launch date of this next generation gaming console from Sony is mid-November and it would take on the already available Microsoft Xbox 360 console in the market.
This move is expected to generate a lot of excitement in the market and the company has said that enough units might not be available to fulfill all the commitments when the console is launched in the market.
The website listing said: “Due to an expected European shortage of the PS3, we are unable to guarantee delivery of your PS3 before Christmas. All pre-orders will be fulfilled on a first come, first served basis and game titles in this package may be changed, subject to availability.”
The console listed for pre-order is the version with a 60GB hard drive.
