Thread: Which is the best among NFS

I saw some NFS being sold for around Rs. 300 (underground) in a shopping site while another NFS with Porsche seling for just Rs. 99. I am not familiar on which is good and why they are selling for so less. Kindly advice me whether NFS Porshe is good to buy for Rs. 99 or is it not even worth it?

NFS porsche is good. Its worth your money for 99/-. I would also recommend NFS MW. I think thats the best in the whole NFS series

As those people that are these original CD's and also now both of these version are old these are really the same amount worth for which they are being offered. If possible i would suggest you to go with NFS Carbon as it is much better then any of other NFS editions.

For me from the NFS series i love NFS : Underground I and II and Carbon. These are the three games i love from the NFS series.

I would say that all the NFS series are good. i have played all the series and i think none of this series was any bad. All of the games are good and very much interesting.

I have NFS II Underground on PS2. I tried out NFS Carbon; it was quite nice too.

I think that Need for Speed Carbon is the best one of the all other parts. I have played this game and i loved its graphics. It need good graphic card to play this game in high resolution mode and i hope that iw ould get one soon.

For me the best among the NFS series is the NFS Carbon. I have played this one and i would say that i have fell in love with this one. It is the best racing game made til now in the NFS series.

The best one fro NFS series had been Most Wanted and Carbon. Both of these had been great games but with the latest version ProStreet i think NFS could had done much better.

Underground I, II, Carbon and ProStreet are the best games in the Need For Speed series. I am sure that soon we would have a lot more better games in this series.

I would say that Most Wanted and Carbon were the best games made in the NFS series and there is no better game made then them till now in this series.

nfs underground 2 is still best in my list.

let's see how new 'nfs undercover' is.

Most Wanted ...Didnt anybody notice that Carbon was a remake of underground ??

Maybe but its better than the original.

NFS: MW had better graphics than CARBON !......I maxed out both graphics and checked it out myself....NFS:MW was the best .....NFS:Carbon was O.K ...NFS:Pro street terrible !

Thats right Ed... Most wanted's gameplay, graphics both were best... I liked only Canyon races in Carbon... Pro-Street's Gameplay sucks...

For me its the Need for Speed Carbon which is the best.I am currently playing this game and i feel that i like it then compared with other NFS collections.

ok here's a bit of nostalgia for u folks since I've played each and every NFS game since NFS II SE (however, only a few I've played through completely).

When it first came out, NFS III Hot Pursuit was the greatest! The cars in that game as well as the ability to be the cops provided hours of high school dorm entertainment for me, esp. with the multiplayer option.

The other NFS I played a little later was 4 - High Stakes, which was okay with the addition of career money and buying cars options, but very similar to Hot Pursuit's gameplay.

I wasn't a big fan of Porsche Unleashed since I didn't like Porsches all that much then and the controls and car damage were towards the realistic side.

NFS Underground 1 & 2 brought about some new and really nice gameplay additions (drag/drift modes if I'm not mistaken) and the option to customize your rides. Again, Underground I was the one 'breaking new ground' here.

My favorite of the whole series so far is the one that came next - Most Wanted! Although I disagree with the opinion that it has better graphics than Carbon (Carbon's night visuals are quite amazing esp. with particle effect and motion blur), the gameplay has great balance between regular races and pursuits. This is what I feel Carbon lacks in - there aren't enough good pursuits in the career mode. Although a couple of them in the Challenge Series are really fun.

I have yet to try out Prostreet. Hope I didn't bore you all with my rambling...but it is the topic of one of my favorite games' series of all time!

That was nice description pjaveed... Better stay away from pro-street... its too long also... But I guess a NFS pro like u will never heed to my advice...

NFS 3 Hot pursuit is the best among the older generation, and underground and carbon are the best in the heavy gaming generation....

I specially like the background music track Romulus 3 in NFS 3... it takes me away to a happier time (when i was in school) whenever i listen to it..

Did you really try maxing out both the game 's graphics ......If so what graphic card did you use ?...

Motion blur effect and particle effect are very well present in Most wanted ...

I have played Most Wanted 3 times to completion and Carbon Once to completion .... I can assure you that Carbon has lower graphics .... Motion blur was introduced to NFS series in UG2 itself ......

If you had played MW in High graphic settings you would have known that ..

-->It rains in MW and Droplets hit the camera ....
-->Before it rains the Sky gets overcast in MW
-->If you drive eastwards(sun rises in the east d'uh) you ll will experience sun glare ... some times thru the leaves of trees !
--> There was a Morning /evening cycle in MW [no night obviously]......

you experience all these only if you have suitable hardware(high end graphic card) to support it .


None of these were present in Carbon

I would say the best has to be nfs u1 ,u2 and mw .From carbon onwards the nfs series has not been up to the mark .May be their latest installment nfs undercover might break this mark which was setup by the previous nfs series
