U can be guaranteed the ps3 will not become outdated anytime soon

Unless you are a gaming freak PC is the best to use in both economical and in a long run. Consoles are good if you are very much in to the games.

PC games gives me more satisfying experience. Besides you need a PC to build games anyway. I think for consoles you dont have to think too much about configuring and upgrading. But due to low broadband spread thoough out India and easy availablity of PC games consoles have not gained that much popularity yet.

PC easily outperforms consoles in terms of performance, availability and accessibility of games. Its such a headache each time to buy new games for a console.

The 65 nm version of XBOX 360 might come out next year. The 45 nm PS3 may come out 2009 end.
