Aspyr Media has said that they are planning to launch a videogame download store to make it easier for Apple Mac users to purchase and get hold of the latest games.

This new store would be called The Gamerhood and it would allow Mac users to buy top-tier games and download them directly on their Macs.

Aspyr is aiming to launch this new digital service by fall this year and it would be free for all the interested Mac users.

This store would let the consumers pay for the games on the net. They would then be able to download it on their machines and play it without going to a store and hunt for Mac games.

They plan to sell all kind of games through this service and the gamers would be able to play them without writing them on discs directly from the computer.

The service would be designed to be user friendly. It would check the user’s Mac machine for system requirement and would only suggest games, which are compatible with that configuration.
