Default Valve would ship Half-Life 2 on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360

Valve has said that they would be launching the popular Half Life 2 videogame and its extensions for the Sony Playstation 3 gaming platform.

This package for the upcoming PS3 would include “enhanced” versions of Half-Life 2 and Episode One as well Episode 2, which will also include the games Team Fortress and Portal.

The company added that the Episode 2 would let the users to quip the main character, Dr. Gordon Freeman, with new weaponry and vehicles that are used to race through a countryside riddled with “an increasingly fierce Combine threat.”

Valve is also claiming that Team Fortress 2 would be an all-new version of the “title that spawned team based multiplayer action games.” They are promising that this game includes “the most advanced graphics of any Source-based game released to date.”

Valve further said that Team Fortress 2 and Portal would be included with all retail and Steam versions of Episode Two for the PC. Also, these products plus Half-Life 2 and Episode One will be available in one package for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. No launch date has been announced however.
