Does any one know where I can play Age of Empires : The conqurers online?

I used to play online when MSN game zone was there but they shut it down a couple of years back and I never tried to find any other place..

admin do you like this game .......... to me this is completely BORING ..... i dont how other people are able to enjoy this ......rather i liked the WARCRAFT III: reign of chaos its pretty interesting, and hell faster than AOE

May be I am getting too old for fast games

I like stratgy games and there is not better stratgy game then AOE

There are some very fast and interesting scenario games available on AOE platform and I love one of them called Spider blood and it is a lot of fun playing it online but if you play on your own its no good.

I think playing games is a sheer waste of time especially when playing for over 30 mins - playing online games is even worse - you are wasting money as well.

My comment may not please avid gamers. I am not against playing games but 15~20 minutes is more than enough to take a break and relax. When I worked at EA, there were consoles and arcades at every nook and corner but I rarely saw people playing for more than 10 minutes.

I don't agree with you at all
You need to do some thing for entertainment (not at work but at home)
You watch movies and you have a big collection of it, i don't watch that much, on my weekends but i play games

These games are not to be played when you have work, generally i play them when i need entertainment and it is my hobbies also. i can play game for 3 hr as you watch movies for 3 hr

ppl read books to do time pass or watch TV, some ppl play games

It is a perspective of an individual and it might be right for one person and wrong for another

I just enjoy games and i am glad i have games to play on my weekend instead of watching the stupid serials

Yes. I do have a huge collection of movies but I watch them only over some weekends (not all weekends).

My argument against games is that it becomes an addictive habit. You play for 2 hours today and reach a particular level and then the mind is always thinking in background on what will happen next and then you cannot wait to get back to the computer. Unlike this, a movie will finish in 2 or 3 hours and it will not prompt me to put in another movie disc to continue the show (at least it does not for me).

Books are entirely different - even from fiction you do learn a lot. For example books by Fredrick Forsythe, Jeffrey Archer, Irving Wallace, Sydney Sheldon, Leon Uris, etc. are written after a lot of research. They become informative. I do not know how much you will learn by playing games that depict violence, war, shooting, etc. I attribute all my knowledge (however limited it may be) to me being well read.

What the heck - my English improved because of my reading habits, especially P G Wodehouse. So there is no comparison here.

Again as stated earlier I am not against playing games but don't let it become an addiction. If you are not addicted then good but this rarely happens.

But to each his own...

I dont normally play games on a daily basis... its only once a month or so but when I do play I spend the whole day or even two days playing games and doing nothing else
This normally happens when some one visits us with their kids
Gives me a good break.

i agree that it can become additive
But it is up to an individual to control it

there are many things in this world which can become additive if not controlled eg: internet, alcohol etc

I believe that it is the responsibility of an individual and his family (if he lives with them) to control it and use it to relax and get fresh

I use it to get fresh because i don't read much and i don't like to watch stupid TV serial or even movies (the usually ones), there are hardly good moves available no a days.

I do enjoy good moves but i don't find good ones very often, so i stick to games

Were is our player !!!!! i don't see any comments from him

Player is probbably busy with one of his gaming consoles

Download Garena Client previously know as GG-Client, Google for it. U can play AOE2 there... they have just added AOE2 Servers... but as of right now they only have 1v1 server... unfortunately there r no INDIAN servers... defiantly worth a try...

Dont ever let games to control your mind just as gardencityboy stated that its upto an individual to control himself/herslef from games.Dont let your games interfere with your exams/career just play them to learn something besides entertainment and dont play for more than 2hrs otherwise you will be tired and you will not be able to study
you see there are two types of gaming styles and they are:

FPS(First Person Shooter): in this type of genre there is some bla bla bla story line probably an anlien invasion and you are a soldier and have to save the world these type are not that much addict

RPG(Role Playing Game): Now this is a genre which is highly i mean HIGHLY addictable i am giving a warning to all the students out there who are reading this that never buy an RPG game if your exams are near otherwise you will botch up all your exams and your parents will beat/verbally abuse the hell out of you!! as i also have gone thorugh this trauma!!!!!!(and leaned) so this is my personal advice dont do this ever just have patience and buy that game after your exam.

Its true,there is no better stratgy game than AOE...Me & my friends (4 of us)...we used to play this game for hours...once we played for 16 hrs non stop). I just love this game.

Try gamespy ...u need to download it ..its free and you can play any game u have online for however long you want .....

Try Age Of Empires III Asian dynasties ...its the most played version of AOE online and for the first time figures India as one of the playable Kingdoms !
(You can call in Allied European reinforcements !!! kewl ah ?)

Dude Role playing games are like Final Fantasy ,assasin's creed,mass effect ,World of Warcraft(online)etc

AOE ,warcraft ,company of heroes are all RTS (Real time strategy)

Offcourse there is TBS(Turn Based Strategy games like Disciples 2,Sid mayers series etc)

TPS (third person shooters are equally good) GTA anyone?? :33:

Im Crazy about GTA series, my favs are vice city and san andreas

Liberycity stories and GTA4 are yet to be played

Age of Empires is indeed my favorite game.I also like playing other strategy games like Hearts of Iron. I currently play then in online through MSN gaming zone.

So Admin... did u play AOE online afterall? if yes, plz share with me... how? I've only played it on LAN... I wanna play it online too...
