No matter how much you upgrade a PC you won't get the real gaming experience of playing a PS3. But upgrading PC is cheaper. And a Graphics card is going to be useful for you in the future not just for gaming purposes.

Leave some of the game which requires alot of key such as WWE series, dont you think you can enjoy many of the goods game on PC which will cost you much cheaper...i am not comparing anything PS3 is still GOD for me, what say??

Hey,

If you plan to buy a PS3 then you do seem to have a big budget ...of a fraction of which you can upgarde your PC and have graphics better than PS3

To get your PC better than PS3 all you have to do is upgrade your RAM and graphic card ....

And ps3's dvds are costlier than their PC counter parts...

Also you can add 5.1 speaker system to your PC and make it into a Home entertainment ....as increased graphics also increases quality of video ...

In the end you need to decide whether you would enjoy console gaming or PC gaming

Which one is better 'The Godfather' of 'Assassin's creed'.

I recommend upgrading your PC than Buying a PS3. Like I said Graphics card will be needed for most application in the future.

For sheer pleasure, PS3 kicks ass! I have a PS2 (I don't play it) and going by it PS3 would be great. But there is a point. PS3 will be useful for games only whereas PC will be more useful all round.

For me, greatest boon of the PS3 is the capability to play blu-ray discs. A typical standalone BD player from Sony costs 29K.

Blue ray discs are costly (movies , games)....and they ll take a while to catch up in the Indian market ... Before which we should see a cheaper version that we can buy...

And yes there is nothing better than multiplayer in a console

But still Pc has more advantages ....

For PS 4 they may take a few years before which PS3 graphics would long have been outdated ...

Did you know?
8600 Gt which costs around rs5000 will give you more graphics than PS3 !

The reason i do not recommend anybody to play it , is because it needs a very advanced system config
It is a DX 10 game , but has an option of DX 9 also

In an 8600gt it plays with a lag !

Take into account that 8600gt has higher graphic capability than PS3

BD Discs may be costly but I am going to buy them soon anyway. I will slowly switch from DVD to BD.

Godfather and Mafia are great games... Infact Godfather inspired me to read the novel and watch the movie... they are awesome... but i suggest to read the novel 1st then watch movie... Nobody has mentioned Call of duty-4 here... I think its best game in recent times... Gameplay and graphics both were good... I liked Graphics of Crysis... but somehow i wasn't satisfied with the game on the whole... Heard that Crysis Reloaded is gonna be a hit... Not playing counter-strike for a while since BSNL sucks at it... NFS Prostreet was a major dissapointment...

Nobody plays here strategy games or what? For PCs without graphic cards strategy games r good option.... Age of empire - II , III, Silent Hunter - III, IV (Silent hunter III is better)... Fifa Manager 2008, International Cricket Captain 2008, Zoo tycoon, Prison Tycoon, The Sims, Rise of Nation are few to start with.... and most of them will run on systems without a dedicated graphics solution...

I play strategy games on my laptop...which doesn't have a graphics card... and is more convenient for such games...

I mentioned here the games which I played and liked(Except Crysis reloaded)... Command @ Conquer & Age of Mythology were OK for me...

You mean all I need to upgrade my Ram and buy one good graphic card...

Will 1 GB RAM do the trick, also please name the graphic card as I have a novice in hardware terms (do mention the approx price of the card)

Even if you do know it will do you very little help. You are going to need the help of a person who knows Hardware stuff(someone you trust) to do this. You need to make sure the Graphics Card is compatible with your existing components. I think its the best way.
