Have you played Mafia. It's the most realistic game I ever played and I am not just talking about the graphics. You can play real characters unlike the comical ones in GTA.

If you find a good game you can find its system requirements in here:
PC Game Requirements (eg:Mafia system requirements.

    Hey,

Sure ! The only thing you need to do is to add a Dedicated graphic card...
I am guessing from your config that your motherboard supports only AGP graphic cards....I can confirm it if you tell me which motherboard you use ?

And as far as adding a graphic card is concerned ....It would be good if you add a NVIDIA 256mb graphic card...
there are many models and prices differ for each ....Also for both Windows Vista and Windows 7 to work without a lag you need a 256 mb dedicated graphic card !....

But ofcourse you can also add 64mb or 128 mb if you are tight on finance ....

256mb graphic cards start at rs2000.....it might have come down by a few hundred rs.....

Do you have any specific budget for your upgradation plan?

Actually since 3-4 months I am planning to buy PS3 but somehow I am waiting for the prices to come down (atleast few thousands) therefore I am bit confused, either to upgrade my PC and enjoy games, internet, and other stuff or burn some bucks to buy PS

Common misconception is that assasin's creed is similar to prince of persia ......

Assasin's creed = graphics comparable to crysis + Prince of persia like Ancient settings and some sword fighting + Hitman like silent assasination + GTA San Andreas like free roam and other other people (citizens walking around)+ superb story ,based partially on a true story +Horse riding +Mind blowing scenes etc etc etc

No matter how much you upgrade a PC you won't get the real gaming experience of playing a PS3. But upgrading PC is cheaper. And a Graphics card is going to be useful for you in the future not just for gaming purposes.

    Hey,

If you plan to buy a PS3 then you do seem to have a big budget ...of a fraction of which you can upgarde your PC and have graphics better than PS3

To get your PC better than PS3 all you have to do is upgrade your RAM and graphic card ....

And ps3's dvds are costlier than their PC counter parts...

Also you can add 5.1 speaker system to your PC and make it into a Home entertainment ....as increased graphics also increases quality of video ...

In the end you need to decide whether you would enjoy console gaming or PC gaming

I recommend upgrading your PC than Buying a PS3. Like I said Graphics card will be needed for most application in the future.
