    Does any one have info about when Vodafone 3G services would be launched in Maharashtra ?

    Vodafone Essar has announced that it will roll out 3G network services in India some time during the first quarter of next year.

    Default Tested DOCOMO

    I got a chance to test TATA Docomo 3G USB Stick for few days in Pune... I was surprised to see seeedtest result of 4+ Mbps, for active Torrents it sustained 500 KBps for hours together.
    Wait for Vodafone has been increasingly painful since then!

    What about the Airtel 3G i have heard that its wonderful and it gives a very good speed. Has anyone used it , is it better than vodafone , i will be purchasing a new connection but i am confused between vodafone and Airtel. Please help

    Thumbs up Vodaphone Vs Airtel - Vodaphone ( in Chennai! )

    I dont know about Pune.
    Since Voda just launched in Chennai and not that many customers using 3g , Iam getting between 3.5 to 4.75 Mbps.
    Since during trial ,GPRS pack is getting blazing 3 G speeds and Airtel speed is not that great ( more customers in Airtel network ), I am voting for Voda.

    Speed wise ,I have heard Reliance was getting the highest speed.

    they are launching 3G in Pune by april 2oth .. you can still experience 3G in the Vodafone 3G zone . I have taken the 599 unlimited monthly 3G USB stick ... theres a vodafone guy who sits in my office . i took this USB stick and plan from him ...

    still not sure how they will give me 3G speeds for 599 ... or was it all a big scam ... once 3G comes they will increase the prices .. The day they do so i will drop vodafone like a hot potato and unlock their USB stick for other companies ...

    I'll be travelling to Rajapur in Ratnagiri District. Will vodafone 3G work there? Any idea guys?
