Vodafone introduces Friends Circle scheme for Indian subscribers

Vodafone has announced a new plan – the Vodafone Friends Circle, for its customers in India. AS per the plans, Vodafone subscribers make calls to their friends at 20 paise/min.

Users can add five numbers to their Friends Circle and avail the subsidized rates for these numbers. The five numbers can be Postpaid and local Vocal numbers. The plan subscribers can even choose to change the five numbers as per their preference.

Prepaid:

• Talk @ 20 p/min with Vodafone Friends circle
• Maximum 5 numbers can be added to your friends circle.
• To know more, sms FRIENDS to 144 (toll free).

Charges: Monthly rental - Rs 10 per number
Note: Applicable only on local Vodafone to Vodafone calls.

Postpaid:

• Talk @ 20 p/min with Vodafone Friends circle
• Maximum 5 numbers can be added to your friends circle.
• To know more, sms FRIENDS to 144 (toll free).
• To activate, sms ACT FF <mobile number> to 111 (toll free).

Charges: Monthly rental - Rs 15 per number
Note: Applicable only on local Vodafone to Vodafone calls.
Activation within 48 hours from time of request.

Good scheme but already it can reduce to 30 p/min(to all vodafone number) using promotional offer so i don't need to reduce to 20 p/min(very little effect) you get benefit from this offer only if you call more than 16 h 39 min in a single number within a month.

one can get a CUG scheme on postpaid where in there is no limitation of adding nos. and its free calling to those internal nos. ! its there in gujarat...dunno abt else whr...!!!!

CUG scheme is also here in chennai. I am using Vodafone postpaid.

For my CUG (iDEA) in conjuction with my companie's corporate plan, I pay 0 paise.

The new scheme of the vodafone is not that much profitable for the subscriber.
its just a trap to get good income for the vodafone as monthly rental for this service.

This is what I get in my Vodafone CUG plan on a monthly rent of Rs.230.

· 500 Local CUG call minutes

· 1000 Local free minutes (to any Vodafone user)

· 150 Local free minutes (Vodafone to other mobiles)

· 700 STD free minutes (Vodafone to any Vodafone user)

· 1000 Free SMS (Local and National)

I get reimubursement for my monthly rent from my company....
