Thread: Cannot use Apps with Vodafone Live

hy,

i recently bought an HTC legend, i have vodafone live activated on my phone, i can browse websites (with inbuilt browser) but i cannot use my weather widget, or use opera mini, or any other apps which require internet

the customer care people said that vodafone live will not work with HTC which turned out to be a lie

is there a workaround for this problem ?

PS- i dont want mobile connect b/c its v expensive in Mahrashtra circle (im in pune)

did you receive any other options other than vodafone live like 'vodafonegprs' or 'vodafone-internet'. if so, try that as default setting.

I have been given to understand that vodafone live does not work on iPhone, Blackberry and now Android phones. I am planning to buy an HTC wildfire phone. Will I be able to use GPRS and access vodafone live. I dont want to subscribe to any additional data plans b'cos its expensive.

Please advice.
