Thread: Vodafone GPRS speed problem

Hi,
I have been using the vodafone GPRS for the last 2 weeks and the plan is rs 95 with 2 gb free. I am using it by connecting it through laptop. My phone is sony ericsson k530i.
Well, I am not sure what speed they provide. When i checked the speed it shows a speed of 57 to 60 kbps. Is it the speed vodafone provide on gprs or is there any other reason due to which i am getting slow speed?
Please clarify my confusion and the problem if i am facing any.

is 3G in your place?
check you have selected umts 2100 in your network settings to recieve 3G signals..

Well i am in south delhi.
3g is available in my place.
Even my phone has 3g facility but i have not activated it yet.
When i switch on my mobile after switch off, it detects 3g signal then signal goes and comes back without 3g sign.

so you must activate first..
if you are on 2g sim and plan , you should get not more than this..
