Thread: Vodafone 3G Speed and Network problems

I have purchased Vodafone 3G USB Stick K3570-Z in Mumbai.
Right from the beginning I have never experienced 3G speed. At best I have got is about 64 KBPS.
Most of the times it shows no signal (even when my Vodafone mobile is showing full signal strength)
When it does find signal, the speed I get is 4-5 kbps. It is worst than dialup.
I have complained to my RM. He asked me to take the devise to a vodafone centre. I did that and was told, they have done something and I will see results in 48 Hours. But even after 9-10 days, there is no difference.
Can I know what speed others are getting on Vodafone 3G?
I am seriously considering canceling the connection.

Hello boss, Vodafone K3570-Z (ZTE product) is faulty product. It does not receive good signal from tower. In wireless internet speed also depent on signal strength. Go for micromax or beetel data card (open market, you can use any GSM SIM), their result is much good.

tritek junior - if you bought vodafone data card in post paid- you are surely going to have lot of head aches. First go the voda office and cancel the subscription saying no signal.

As long you are using Windows 7 (not WinXP) ,using voda 3570z for other operator sims is a breeze.
This data card not locked unlike the voda 7.2 mbps card .

Have you checked proper "APN" "WWW" is in the right place.
Iam using this 3.6 mbps card for almost 1 year. This is not too bad. You can get up to 2.5/2.8 mbps easily. I use mostly BSNL 3G ,Airtel 3G in this card.

what speeds/ping you are getting in phone in speed test.net

Hello Mr. tolkapiam- 1)if any kind of APN mistake it could not establish a connection, here talk about speed problem not estalish a dialup connection 2) I test many of K3570-Z data card it receive the signal from tower is very poor than others & it's my practical knowledge.
