Hi,

I had purchased a Samsung Galaxy SII model through Vodafone with a free offer of 3G connection for 6months (1GB/moth). However it took them a month to activate the same & in the meanwhile on advice of Voda store personal I went in for a monthly Rs.100 3G plan that I could deactivate once the plan as promised was available.
Once the plan was activated, I deactivated the Rs100 plan and for a month had the 3G services. However every 29th of the month the service gets automatically deactivated & the customer care has no clue as to why this happens. There have been instances when I am told by the exec that I never had the plan. Without understanding what my problem is they have numerous times given me fake assurances. The offer was mentioned on all their communications, the store exec told me of the same when i purchased the handset, & even mentioned in the T&C page on their website. How can you tell an agrrieved customer that he is lying without realising the problem.
Every month, I call their cust care number a numerous times & am put on hold while they come up with a new excuse. Even at the store, this time around I have visited twice with a promise that matter will be resolved within a few hours. I posted on their twitter account to which they have not yet reverted, just given an assurance.
This is a breach of contract & the good faith in which I made the purchase. Moreover, it is a loss of trust. I have used vodfone's services for almost a decade now, with remarkable services till date. However this kind of behaviour is unacceptable.
I have wasted my time & money calling their cust care and making visits to the store & to this date they are either giving me assurances or making me realise (or shal i say allege) that I did not have the plan (when it is there in their systems). What should I do? Shall I drag the company to NCDRC or any other consumer redressal forum?
