GOOD Maxx>Orange>Hutch>Vodafone BAD
I started with Orange 5 years ago. It was the best!
Then became Hutch. It was still good!
Then became Vodafone Third-Class !!!
Vodafone :
Network : 3.5/5 (Good In Mumbai, Bad In Roaming)

Connectivity : 3.5/5 (Good Clarity but experience Call Drops specially in Train unlike many other competitors in which I get seamless calling)

Charges : 0.5/5 (Very Very Expensive)

Service : 2.5/5 (They Just Talk Sweetly But Never Really Work. And now specially in 111, they talk in a horrible manner and village language)

Since I was not getting even 50% value for my money, I decided to port-out. Here was the real worst experience !!!

I applied for MNP. They called and gave me a super-plan. I accepted the plan and stopped MNP. The plan then never got activated! I complained but no use.
I re-applied porting. They rejected saying 'You are in a special plan' . Special plan only by name no benefits! I told them to deactivate that special plan and come back to normal! I also deactivated all my schemes!

I applied for porting out again. They rejected saying 'Contractual Obligation'. I went to the store and they said it was done by mistake and I should apply again!

I re-applied. Again rejected stating the same reason. They again gave the same reason. The also said there is some 'Contract' attached by mistake which they will clear and I should re-apply after 72 hours!

I knew they were doing all this purposely so save customers! But I was encouraged more and more to port-out by these acts as it hurts a human's strength, right, ego and freedom! (I hope Vodafone is reading). And all this while the kept calling and begging to stay in Vodafone and offered me bribes in the form of cheap rates! I rejected all.

I re-applied again! The very next day my base plan was changed automatically! And in few-hours they rejected my porting saying 'You Have Changed The Plan'.

Please Note : When I was using Vodafone and wanted to change my plan really, they said plan changes only after the end of the current billing cycle. But this time it was magic! The plan changed on a middle-day! Fools! I know why it changed!

I went to the store and gave them all abuses I knew. They said someone will call me in the next 24 hours. This time it will port out surely! I also posted a complaint in TRAI.

I got a call in 24 hours, they all again begged and I said ' U gimme 1 lakh balance everyday still I'm not being with you'll'! They then accepted and told me to re-apply!

I re-applied and this time no. was ported finally in 4 days!

I vow that I will never use Vodafone ever now whatever the case, will not allow my family and dear-ones to use/buy the same and will always encourage and help Vodafone users to port out!

I friend had a TATA docomo sim and he applied for MNP. His no. was ported out hassle-free in 5 days! No cheating and fraud! This is called a real company. A customer should die coming in a company and not the other hand. This increased my respect for TATA and will always look forward to it!

I would have visited Voda Store atleast 100 times and called CC 200 Times (Seriously) in my last 1 year experience with Vodafone !
