Thread: Free PC to mobile calls

People have friends and family in different countries in the world, and want to stay connected and making normal phone calls from your mobile or landline can be quite expensive especially if you like talking a lot of have a lot of friends and family to say connected with.

In this thread I will let you all know how easily you are able to make free mobile calls from barablu.com.
Barablu is something which allows you to make free mobile calls and all from by simply downloading the barablu software which is absolutely free.

The step by step procedure on how to make free mobile phone calls is below:

1) You need to first of all register yourself with barabu, and after registration they will send you a sms which will have your download details, or you can simply click on a link given on the same page to download it straight from there.

2) Once you have downloaded the software onto your GPRS, Wifi, or any other Internet Data planned mobile phone, you need to install it. And if you are using your PC then simply do the same for your PC, downloaded then install.

3) When you make calls using the barabblu you will notice it’s the same way you dial calls in any other way. When the calls are made they are carried over the Internet and then bypass the mobile operator’s network. Therefore it gives you free calling. If you are using your mobile to make calls you need an Internet data plan, and whom ever you are calling must also have the software downloaded and installed on their mobile.

4) For those who have a PC and use barablu you are able to do all the normal VOIP things, such as chat, SMS and so on.

5) For example is you friends do not have barablu on their mobile or are unable to download it, then if they have either Skype, MSN Messenger, Google Talk or Yahoo account you can import their contacts and be able to make calls.

nothing is free dear

Havent recieved their sms on my phone till now.. i use 1202 Nokia.. its a great phone with awesome torch light and two inbuilt games...

can i use it as VOIP device?? or should i use my 1100Nokia for this

what if my frnd has that software installed but not internet connection on mobile ?

to stay connected with your familly and friend overseas you can try a new skype adapter for landlile and cell phone - "Rylwy"

apart from voip, i usually make calls to my friends using wifi through fring from my mobile. so all the users better install fring or other software which supports google talk and skype and u can use ur mobile to talk them for free.

I did not download it so I can not comment on the quality but I wonder why would someone use this one and not skype or one of the many services? For making calls providers offer free trial offers and similar stuff which you can keep using.

All Rubbish ! Nothing is free. How does anyone provide free calling service to any mobile phone in the world that is also free. Its true that some sites are providing free sms services, But calls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Never ever.

I know it makes sense to think that way but there are some companies that have come up with interesting business models such as you get free calls for listening to ads while your party's phone rings and you get connected. Those ads pay for more than it costs them to provide free calling. Examples of such include Free 411 service or Ringplus.

Hi, friend ,

I agree with you that some companies are providing free calling service but they do just for their business, here iam taking about free calling to friends, relatives etc. So, do you know any site which are providing free calling service from pc to any mobile phone in the world please let me know.

The companies I talked about are actually providing free calls anywhere in the world.

err this software requires both the caller and receiver to have the software installed on the phone...

Nonono. I am talking about Free411 and Ringplus which do not need any software. You make calls from your phone.
