Have any one know how to make Long Distance to PSTN numbers over Internet ? I got a voip router and Good Internet connection.

Please suggest a good voip provider to make ISD calls

I would suggest voip buster if you want to call North America and for excellent call quality go for skype.

Why didnt you post in voip section?

Thanks for your suggestion. Do I need to open any voip prots from my ISP inorder to use Voip service ?

Mention model and make. and ADSL modem used.
I can use Skype for Voice calls without above Unit.
If you want to dial ISD numbers ,
i think it is Not Free!

Since I am using Vonage VOIP 24/7 not updated on Skype.
( Monthly charges paid in U.S)
for Ports . No special setting done.

Will there be any price difference or any other issues if I select any VOIP providers in US rather than India?

Usually the VOIP unit is given FREE ,
the Telephone service is opted for in U.S.
( contract for a minimum period say 1 or 2 years)
Also for a Monthly Fixed charge say $25/=
all VOIP calls are free as well as local calls.
Different plans by their Telephone providers.

No idea about VOIP providers in India.

IN Vonage, even I can call a local relative, on
VOIP Free of Charge. ( they also have the BB
connection and Vonage etc )

Ive heard skype is a good option to call anybody on your friends lists..what about if its not? can you directly call using the number only? is it free to call?(dont have a skype account )..
