Verizon wireless has joined hands with Skype to provide their customers call through Skype using selected smart phones. News was released on Tuesday by the service provider. The supported mobiles are BlackBerry Storm, BlackBerry Storm 2, Curve 8330, Curve 8530, Curve 8830 World edition, Tour 963o. Motorola Droid, Motorola Devour and HTC Droid Eris may also use this application to make calls.

To use Skype mobile client, the customer need to have a data plan. The customers can make and receive unlimited Skype to Skype calls which is free of cost. They can also use Skype Out to make international calls at Skype’s rate.
