Is there any Voip services in India where you can use the regular phone through the net or wireless net? I mean without sitting in front of a computer with your head set and microphone?

Using any ATA device you make calls outside INDIA.
Requirments

ATA device : Linksys or Cisco or Sipura
Broadband Connection : Speed 64k and above
Analog telephone Instrument: One
Calling Cards: Plan has choose according to u r usage and country to be called.

1.From where in INDIA can I get the ATA device of say Linksys or Cisco or Sipura ?
2.Where to get the calling card from? Which service provider etc?

Its of no use getting an ATA device without a provider...!!!
also sipura is a chipset used in routers and linksys uses that too!!!!!!!!!

From any networking shop you can get linksys Pap2 which will cost you 3000 or 4000 rupees.
There are so many providers for VOIP like TATA/Swiftmail/worldphone etc...

you are wrong. You will not be able to use the PAP2 purchased from the any retail store. You can purchase but those needs to be registered to appropriate service provider because all providers who introduces PAP2 in market will have their name in it like, Linksys PAP2 which has label Vonage can be used only with vonage provider.
